Cherry Festival
The Cherry Festival, which is of agricultural origin, has been celebrated since 1983. With this festival Castillo de Locubín pays homage to one of the most famous products of its orchards, the cherry. Every third weekend in June, with the beginning of the harvest, a contest is held for recipes for desserts, spirits and special dishes in which the only requirement is that the precious red fruit occupies a prime place.
